Hey Lance! My son and I enjoyed talking to you yesterday at the scout hunt & fish day. You were very informative to someone who is "green" to camping and hiking. It's really neat how you do what you do when it comes to backpacking. I hope to take Zack camping some this summer without the scouts. we have researched some of the trails around the parkway/Boone area. I thought that might be a good place to start.
